Gaya: A case of killing of a security guard with a sharp weapon in Gaya district of Bihar on Monday has come to notice. The incident happened in the Magadh medical police station area of the district, where Dhananjay Singh alias Gulab Singh, who was posted as security guard in a private apartment, was cut off by miscreants with a sharp weapon and threw the corpse into the field.

According to the information received, the deceased guard was out of the house late last night asking him to meet a man. But he did not return all night. The family began researching him in the morning, and in the meantime, the guard's body was recovered in the field near the village. After the body was found, the family reported it to the police. The incident was reported by the local police station and the body was captured and delivered for post mortem. The police is currently in the investigation of the case.

On the spot after the incident was reported, head quarter DSP Sanjit Kumar Prabhat said prima facie it appears to have been killed by a sharp weapon. The police are currently trying to find out why and how the murder took place. In Bihar, criminal offences have increased wildly in the last few months. Criminals are committing daily murders like robbery. The police are unable to crack down on the culprits.
