Patna: During the assembly elections in Bihar, the Nitish government is ready to fulfill the promise of giving corona vaccine free to all the people of the state. The Bihar government has decided that the state government will bear the entire cost of the corona virus vaccine to be applied in private hospitals from March 1. In an important meeting held on Sunday under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar, it was decided that vaccines will be given to the people free even in private hospitals.

From today, corona vaccine is to be applied in private hospitals of the country to people above 60 years of age and those suffering from serious diseases above 45 years. The central government has kept the price of each dose of vaccine up to a maximum of two and a half rupees, but in Bihar people will get it for free. During the election, BJP had promised that if it comes back to power, then every citizen of Bihar will be given covid-19 vaccine-free.

Taking this forward, after the formation of the government, the Nitish government had approved the proposal to apply corona vaccine to every citizen of Bihar for free, after which the state government decided that the vaccine was given to everyone in Bihar for free.
