Patna: The budget session of Bihar Legislative Assembly is going to start tomorrow. Starting from tomorrow, this session will run till 24 March. On the first day of the session, Governor Phagu Chauhan's address will be in a concurrent meeting of the two houses of the Bihar Legislature in the expanded Central Hall of the Bihar Legislature. After this, Bihar Budget 2021-22 will be presented on 22 February. There will be a brainstorm on the vote of thanks on 23.
After the presentation of the budget, detailed information will be given about the budget of each department on different days of the session. After this, the demands of grants will be discussed on the demands included in the budget from March 1 to March 16. The government will have an answer on the 17th debate. From 18 to 23 March state bills will be arranged. In a letter issued by the Bihar Legislative Secretariat, it has been said that if for any reason there is a need to extend the duration of the session beyond March 24, then a program will be organized on different dates for the disposal of various works.
This is the second assembly session after the formation of the government. Earlier, after the election was over, a winter session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly was held from November 23 to November 27, in which all the new MLAs were sworn in. The new Speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly was also selected during this session.
