Patna: During the third and last phase of Bihar assembly elections, big news is coming from Purnia. Voters clashed with security forces at booth number 282 here. It is reported that a person standing in line to vote was beaten up by a CISF soldier, after which the controversy increased. During this time, the police did a lathi charge. There has also been an information about firing by security forces here.

Police has detained three people in this case. Peaceful polling was going on at booth number 282 at Aliganj in Purnia's Dhamdaha Assembly. There was a queue of voters. Eyewitnesses said that during this time, a soldier of CISF punished a voter for straightening the line, after which the controversy increased. Voters soon began to dominate the security forces.

After this, the security forces started using sticks to calm this disturbance. There was chaos on the spot as soon as the sticks were running. If people believe, the security personnel also opened air fire to control the situation. Four to five rounds were fired, causing panic. During this, the police took three people in custody.
