Patna: Counting of votes is continuing in Bihar.  After a while behind, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo and former CM Lalu Prasad's eldest son of Bihar, Tej Pratap, is running ahead of 1300 votes from JDU's nearest rival from Hasan Pur assembly constituency. His younger brother and CM candidate of the Grand Alliance, Tejashwi Yadav, is running ahead of 5000 votes from the Raghapur assembly constituency.

In the initial trends, Tejpratap has taken a lead of 1300 votes on JDU's nearest rival Rajkumar Rai. Tej Pratap has so far received 20,451 votes and Roy has received 19,118 votes. While Tejashwi Yadav has so far 17,575 votes from the Raghapur assembly constituency, his nearest rival BJP candidate Satish Kumar has got 12,248 votes. Thus, Tejashwi has taken a lead of 5000 votes on its nearest opponent.

Sharad Yadav's daughter, Sulinguini Bundela, is running ahead of the Bihariganj seat by a margin of just eight votes. Congress candidate Bundela has so far received 19685 votes for 19,693 and Niranjan Kumar Mehta of his opponent JDU. Alok Ranjan of BJP has got 50,474 votes, RJD candidate Anand has got 31,956 votes.
