Police arrested Naveen and on his spot, arrested his associates Narad Pandit, Patwari Mandal and Bhubaneshwar Mandal from their house. Kahalgaon SDPO told that husband Naveen Mandal has confessed to killing his wife. In a statement to the police, Naveen said that his wife was having an illicit relationship with another person in the village, about which he was upset. There were constant taunts in the village regarding this matter, so he along with his friends killed her.
