New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi told both Hindu and Hindutva as two different things, the Bharatiya Janata Party is aggressive on him regarding this matter. In this sequence, on Sunday, the Bihar Bharatiya Janata Party has sent a copy of Bhagavad Gita to Rahul Gandhi through the post, so that he can increase his knowledge on the issue of Hinduism and Hindutva.

At a press conference on Sunday, Bihar BJP State President Dr Sanjay Jaiswal showed the media a copy of the Bhagavad Gita and said, "When elections come to a state, Rahul Gandhi starts visiting temples there and that is why the party has decided to send him a copy of the Bhagavad Gita so that he can get information about Hinduism and Hindutva''.

He accused Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders like Salman Khurshid and Raashid Alvi of making statements on Hinduism and Hindutva under a deliberate conspiracy. "Whatever statements have been made by Congress leaders on this issue in the last 4 days are not just a coincidence but a conspiracy. Salman Khurshid compared RSS to the terrorist outfits Boko Haram and ISIS, while Rashid Alvi described Jai Shri Ram's slogan as the language of demons. It has all been under a conspiracy". Former Law Minister and External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid has written a book titled 'Sunrise over Ayodhya' which has been heavily criticized in many parts.
