The Bihar Board class 10 result, which was declared on Sunday, May 29, recorded a sharp decline in pass percentage of 28 % as compared to last year. From the 15.47 lakh students, who appeared for the class 10 board examinations, less than half of the students were able to clear the state board exam successfully.
This year only 10.86 students were able to attain first division as compared to 21.45 % students, who secured it last year.
Boys of the state had 54.44 % which was almost 17% more than girls, who got 37.61 %.
The result of 1,669 students is still pending.
