In Bihar, government recruitment has been made for about 600 posts for 12th pass and graduate candidates. Bihar Technical Services Commission has taken out recruitments to the posts of Fisheries Development Officer, Fisheries Extension Officer, and Ophthalmologic Assistant. Candidates desirous of applying can apply online by visiting the official portal till 5th May 2021.

Ophthalmologic Assistant - 236 posts
Fisheries Development Officer - 212 posts
Fisheries Extension Officer - 136 posts
Total Posts- 584

Educational Qualifications:
Ophthalmologic Assistant- For this recruitment, candidates are required to have a 12th pass from Science and Diploma Certificate in Ophthalmologic Assistant Course.
Fisheries Development Officer- Candidates for the post B in Industrial Fisheries (Honours). Sc. Or it is necessary to have a degree in aquaculture.
Fisheries Extension Officer- Candidates are required to have a graduation degree in fisheries from Agriculture University.

Age-limit:
Candidates from the age group of 21 years to 37 years can apply for the post of Fisheries Development Officer and Fisheries Extension Officer. On the other hand, the minimum age for the posts of Ophthalmologic Assistant has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age at 37 years. The maximum age limit for women to apply for all three posts has been fixed at 40 years.
