Nalanda: A sensation has spread in Bihar's Nalanda district on Saturday morning after the body of a college girl was found. The body found near Basavan Bigha village has been identified as 17-year-old daughter Deepa Kumari of Raj Kumar Gupta, resident of Alinagar village in Bihar police station area. Nirmala Devi, the mother of the deceased, said that a young man named Suraj often harassed her.

Police said that the daughter went to Dhaneshwarghat for coaching on Friday, but did not return till evening. After this, we started searching. Police received a call this morning that the body of their daughter was recovered from the Basavan Bigha railway line. Many deep wounds have been found on the body. The mother of the deceased has accused Suraj, a young man, that he was having a love affair with her, which used to bother her a lot. The body has been brought to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The police has started investigating the entire case.

Earlier on January 22 in the Jakkanpur area of the capital Patna, a lover killed a matricide student with a knife. In the case, the police arrested the accused lover. In Jayaprakash Nagar of Jakkanpur police station area, the accused entered the house and killed a 14-year-old girl with knives. Three knife marks were found on his neck.
