Hajipur:  Bike riding miscreants shot dead Congress leader Rakesh Kumar Yadav in Nagar police station area of Vaishali district of Bihar. The cause of the murder is yet to be ascertained. According to the information given by the police, Yadav was going to exercise in a gym on Cinema Road on Saturday as usual.

As soon as he stopped near the gym, bike riding miscreants shot Rakesh Kumar. After getting the information, the police who reached the spot have started looking into the reasons for the murder. Deputy Superintendent of Police Raghav Dayal has said that Rakesh, a resident of Meenapur village, was going to the fitness gym in the morning when the miscreants targeted him. He said that the criminals fired four bullets at Rakesh, which led to his death on the spot.

After the incident, angry people came on the road demanding the arrest of the criminals and they created a ruckus. The police vehicle was also vandalized. The Deputy Superintendent of Police said that the reasons for the murder could not be ascertained at the moment, but the police is investigating the entire case. Rakesh was a Congress leader and before that he was also the Vice President of Youth Congress.
