Patna: The coronavirus epidemic is wreaking havoc across the country. The number of corona infected people is also increasing rapidly in Bihar. There is also a corona blast situation in Bihar. Breaking all records so far in the state, 8690 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered during the last 24 hours. Of these, 2290 are corona cases in the capital Patna alone.

The trouble in Bihar's capital Patna is that doctors and health workers treating patients in several governments and private hospitals in the city have also been infected with coronavirus in the past few days. According to reports, more than 250 doctors, nurses, and other health workers are currently undergoing treatment in Patna after being infected with coronavirus or are in home isolation.

In Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), only 62 doctors and 50 nurses are infected with corona and are in home isolation. 25 doctors and 27 nurses have also been found infected with a corona at Nalanda Medical College and Hospital in Patna. Similar is the case with Patna's AIIMS. Patna AIIMS has 25 junior doctors, 17 senior doctors, and 65 nurses in-home quarantine after contracting corona.
