Patna: The case of removal of tainted inspectors from police station in Bihar is on the rise. Protests against the state government's decision have also begun. While the Bihar Police Association has opposed the decision, some policemen have started resorting to Facebook to protest against the verdict. The DGP has warned of strict action against such policemen. It has also announced to honour 400 honest policemen.

Following the Bihar government's decision, the police headquarters has removed 396 tainted inspectors from their posts. There is a lot of anger among the policemen. The Bihar Police Association has also expressed its displeasure against it. But the Bihar DGP has hinted at taking stern action against those who express such resentment.

DGP Guptaeshwar Pandey has said that the decision to remove the tainted policeman from the police station is not ours but the state government's decision. Some people are also protesting the decision on social media. We want them to know how clean they are and we will also get it checked. However, the DGP also said that if any policeman feels that improper action has been taken against him, the police can apply to the headquarters.
