Patna: Flood outbreak continues in Bihar. In Chhapra, supply of electricity has been stalled for several days amid the outbreak of flood. In fact, flood water has entered the Rasulpur Powergrid of Amanour in Chapra, due to which the power supply has almost stopped in the district. Electricity was supplied to eight power substations along the Saran division area from Rasulpur power grid in Amanour.

Suddenly, the rising flood water entered the premises of the power grid, which suddenly disrupted the power supply. Hundreds of villages in Chapra, Siwan, Gopalganj have become dark due to power supply disruptions. Due to water entering the Rasulpur power grid, power supply has been disrupted in many blocks and districts. Even after a week, the people of the area are very upset due to the lack of water from the power grid.

Giving information, Priyanka, a resident of Amnore, has said that there is a problem in charging mobile and life has completely got messed up. People are upset in summer. No action is being taken by the department to resolve this problem. Hundreds of villages have been plunged into darkness due to the failure of power supply in Chhapra, Siwan, Gopalganj due to floods. An alternative arrangement has been discovered by the Chhapra headquarters Telpa, Siwan and Gopalganj, but many areas connected to the Rasulpur power grid are still in darkness.
