4th May 2016,According to the Police,Four persons, involving a woman, were arrested with fake Indian currency of the face price of Rs 50,000 from a village on Indo-Nepal border in Bihar's East Champaran district.

Raxaul Station House Officer Rajeshwar Prasad said, “amid frisking police recovered the fake currency notes which the four were trafficking into the country.”

The salvage took place in Laxmipur village under Raxaul police station of the district .

SHO said, “The four, including a woman, had entered into the Indian side from Nepal”

SHO further said, “:Throughout enquiring, the woman tried to mislead the police team by giving a false identity and address”

Cases of trafficking of fake currency and even narcotics have been re-counted from time to time from Indo-Nepal borders.
