Patna: The Bihar government has recently taken a major step in which students who have dropped out of school in different districts of the state will be assessed and searched. Students between the ages of 15 and 19 who have dropped out of school will be searched from house to house. After matriculation, 20 to 25 percent students are dropping out and after inter, more than 30 percent students are dropping out. The Education Department has expressed concern over the increasing number of drop-outs of this age and has started efforts for this. It will also be known why these children have dropped out of their studies midway.

Education Department official Kamlesh Kumar said that the department will now search for matriculation and inter-pass students who have dropped out due to some reason. The list has been sought from the districts in 15 days. In the first phase, those students who have dropped out will be identified. Due to this, it is also being investigated why she dropped out the school college. After that, efforts will be made to bring them back to the school college. For this, house-to-house checking will be done so that children can be reconnected to schools as soon as possible.

The number of schools matriculating from Bihar Board is increasing every year. But all the students who pass matriculation are not able to reach the intermediate there. They miss out on their studies. The department will search for such students and include them in the examination conducted by Bibose or NIOS. The cost of which will also be borne by the government itself. The department has taken this decision to ensure that promising students are not deprived of higher education due to lack of money. This effort will improve the level of education in the state. If the girls pass the intermediate, they will also complete most of their graduation. There will be an increase in the number of women graduates in the state. By studying graduation, girls will be able to shape their better future. This scheme is being run for this purpose.
