Gaya: In Bihar's 'Mokshasthali' Gaya, this year on the occasion of Pitripaksha, devotees will not come to worship their ancestors for salvation. In view of the rush of pilgrims coming during the crisis of Corona epidemic, the government has decided to postpone the organization of Pitrupaksha Fair this year. After this order of the government, the Panda society has expressed its displeasure.

Please tell that for the peace of soul of their forefathers, the Hindu religious people come to the ancestral Gaya and pray for their ancestors to get salvation by offering pindadan and offering at various pindhasthals. The Bihar State Revenue and Land Reform Department has decided that the Pitrupaksha Mela is being postponed this year in the interest of the people. The Pitrupaksha fair was going to start from September 2 this year, in which the possibility of reaching 10 lakh devotees was being expressed.

The department stated in its order that, "The decision has been taken by the department to postpone the Pitrupak Mela 2020 in the public interest in view of the difficulties in the compliance of social distance and possible infections caused by corpses coming to the ancestral fair due to corona virus. " At the same time, after this order, resentment is being seen in the Panda society and common people.
