Even today, a victim is begging for justice in the hospital and is fighting the battle of life and death. Many such daughters have been burnt in the past with respect to 'family prestige'. Incidents of burning the girl, the girl alive, have been continuously coming out in Bihar for the last several days. Many cases have been disclosed by the police, but many cases are still unresolved.

When the investigation was done, in the same way, a girl in Muzaffarpur tried to rape her by sneaking into the house and on protest she burnt the girl alive by spraying kerosene oil. In the incident in Ahiyapur police station, the victim's mother alleged that the boy had been harassing the girl for three years, who had also complained to the police. In this case, the victim girl is still swinging between life and death in the hospital and only pleading for justice.
