Jehanabad: One Barati was killed and five others seriously injured when a bomb exploded at a wedding ceremony in Bihar's Jehanabad district. The injured have been referred to PMCH in Patna after first aid at Jehanabad Sadar Hospital. The injured include the groom's father and brother-in-law. The incident is being reported from Bandhuchak village of Pali police station area.

In the village of Bandhuchak in the Pali police station area of Jehanabad, there was a sudden explosion behind the folding bed placed for the groom in the strait of the wedding ceremony. As soon as the blast took place, there was an atmosphere of panic. In the incident, one Barati Jagdish Prasad was killed and five people, including a nine-year-old child, were badly injured. The injured include the groom's father and brother-in-law. Two of the four other injured are said to be in critical condition. The groom's uncle said that the village under Singodi police station in Patna district had come from Beldarichak to The Bandhuchak village of Barat Pali police station.
