Madhubani: Furious people created a ruckus after the death of a teacher in a road accident on Friday in Phulparas police station area under Madhubani district of Bihar. Angry people blocked the National Highway and set fire to about half a dozen vehicles and vandalized a dozen vehicles.

Giving information about the accident, a police officer has told that Rohan Mandal (40 years), a teacher from Andharamath in Madhubani district, was going somewhere by road on Friday, when a truck hit his bike near Bhuthi bridge He gave his death on the spot. The deceased was a teacher in Lokhi's Narhiya High School. After this incident, people became angry and they created a ruckus.

An official of the police said that the people who were raging had also burnt a vehicle of the Block Development Officer who reached the spot. Apart from this, about five to six vehicles were set on fire and vandalized more than 10 vehicles. After this, the police who reached the spot had to use mild force to disperse the crowd. Madhubani Superintendent of Police Dr. Satyaprakash has told that now the situation is completely under control. Some people are being questioned in custody.
