Patna: A case of murder of a minor after she was raped at a madarsa in Betia district of Bihar has come to light. The madarsa is said to be in the Narkatiaganj Shikarpur police station area. On Sunday (October 31, 2021), when other children went to the madrassa to study, they saw the body of the teenager. The children fled the madarsa after seeing the body and informed the villagers about it.

According to the victim's family, her daughter had left home on Saturday night (October 30, 2021) to defecate, after which she has not returned. The news of the murder of a 16-year-old minor in Hasanapur near Dhoba village on Sunday created a stir in the vicinity. The body of the girl was reportedly found in the classroom of Madarsa Islamia Dhoba. Deep wound marks have been found on his face and throat. The case was reported to the police after which Shikarpur police rushed to the spot and seized the body and sent it for postmortem.

Police have arrested Madarsa Islamia Dhoba Tola head Madris Md. Hashamuddin, secretary Tayyab Ansari and the teenager's father have been questioned. Shikarpur Saheb Ajay Kumar said that the case of murder is under investigation. Whether the teenager has been raped or not will be clear only after the medical report is received. The minor has 3 sisters, who are married. Her mother passed away 5 years ago and the father works as a labourer. The teenager was scheduled to get married in April next year, but the family was deeply saddened by the sudden disappearance of her daughter from home. They did not tell anyone in the village for fear of public shame and started looking for her quietly. The family had lost consciousness after her body was found in the madrassa behind the house.
