Another bomb blast in Bihar after Banka, injures Mohammad Afroz

Patna: After the blast in Banka's Madarsa, the blast has now been reported from a village under Araria district of Bihar. A person named Mohammad Afroz was injured in the incident. Police have also recovered two live bombs from the spot. Police said the case is being investigated from every angle. The incident took place in Bhubaneshwari Rampur village under Bargachi police station area of Araria district.

According to media reports, a massive blast took place near the mango garden in Rampur village on thursday evening (June 10). Villagers reported the blast to the police after which Bargachi police station in-charge Harendra Kumar reached the spot. Mohammad Afroz was injured on the spot. Police rushed the injured to a hospital in Afroz and launched an investigation into the case. Police are interrogating Afroz's family and villagers. According to media reports, Bargachi police station in-charge Harendra Kumar has expressed apprehension that Afroz may have been carrying a bomb in the bag but the bomb exploded when the house was under construction.

Earlier, a blast was reported at a madarsa in Navtolia area of Banka district. There, the blast rocked the surrounding area in a madarsa next to the Noori Masjid Islampur complex on June 7. The madarsa was completely demolished and a Maulvi died.
