Patna: Bihar is witnessing the full impact of the premature Monsoon. The state has been receiving good rainfall since the south-west Monsoon hit on June 12. Monsoon rains have disrupted the lives of the people of the state. In Bihar, incessant rain in Samastipur district has created flood like situation in the city due to water logging (Waterlogging). Trees have collapsed in many places. Power supply to many areas has also come to a standstill.

In Samastipur, the hospital complex has been inundated due to heavy rain accompanied by strong winds for the past two days. Hospital staff and family members of patients are travelling in the water. Meanwhile, the Met department has issued a warning of heavy rain. According to IMD, heavy rain may occur in all districts of the state today (Tuesday). The Met department has issued a red alert in the state for Tuesday while a yellow alert of rain for tomorrow i.e.

The DM office premises have also been flooded due to heavy rains. Moreover, people are facing problems due to rainwater logging in most parts of the city. This has made it difficult for people to leave their homes.
