Bihar youth commits painful suicide, cuts his throat with blade

Munger: In Kharagpur town, a young man in the village of Haveli, bihar's Munger district, committed suicide due to mental stress. The young man has committed suicide in a painful way. Police have launched an investigation into the case. According to reports, Ajay Gupta alias Nanda Gupta, son of Arjun Prasad, a resident of Marwari Tola in Hawali Kharakpur, was strangled by a blade due to mental stress.

The deceased locked the attached bathroom of his room from inside and smothered the throat with the blade, two to three blades were also recovered from the spot. He first cut the vein of his hand from the blade, then he took sand from the blade. As soon as friends got to know about the incident, they approached the room. The injured youth was then taken to the Primary Health Centre, but died on the way.

The brother of the deceased said that he had been under a lot of mental stress for the past one week. His Executive Assistant Engineer's appointment letter was also about to come, he was selected for restoration under the DRDA. Yet we don't know what he was under mental stress about.
