Patna: A sensational case has come to light from Muzaffarpur in Bihar. Where some criminals first kidnapped a minor girl and then burnt her to death with acid. The girl's family alleged that their daughter was first raped and then brutally murdered. However, police have detained three persons in the case.

The incident took place in Maniari police station area of Muzaffarpur. Where a 17-year-old minor girl living in Madhopur Susta suddenly went missing on May 31. Family members told police that her daughter was kidnapped by some boys on two scooties on the way when she was on her way to the market with her mother. The family kept searching for the girl but could not find anything. The girl's distressed family reached Maniari police station on June 2 and registered a case of kidnapping against Sonu Kumar and his three brothers after narrating the ordeal to the police. Police had been searching for the minor girl ever since. Meanwhile, the body of a young girl was recovered from under The Akraha Bridge of Kudhni police station.

Police identified the girl's body on Thursday. She was the 17-year-old daughter of Shankar Rai, a resident of Madhopur Susta in Maniari. Pictures of her were going viral on social media. He was identified from those pictures. The girl was burnt with acid. Police sent the girl's body to the mortuary.
