Patna: RJD state president Jagdanand Singh has recently made a controversial statement. In fact, recently, Jagdanand Singh addressed the dais during an ongoing protest demanding a caste census. In the meantime, he said, "Jeanswear cannot play politics.'' At the same time, he also said, "Our party is a party of the poor, a party of farmers, a party of those who fight. You wear jeans, you will never be able to make a leader.''

He further said, "Those who do not sit on strike are RSS workers and have entered our procession. Have you come to shoot the film? If you have come to do politics, sit on strike. Learn to agitate, this is a time of training for young leaders.'' He also said, 'Our right has been taken away, so we have to fight a long battle. The RJD had taken out a procession demanding conduct of caste census, implementation of remaining recommendations of the Mandal Commission, and filling up of backlog seats covered by the reservation. Meanwhile, the procession was stopped by the police at the Income Tax intersection.'

Jagdanand Singh then sat on a strike on the road, but some young party leaders had to work hard to sit on the road. He said, "Just be in the process of being photographed, sit down, or else we will assume that you are not all RJD workers.'' Let me tell you that Abdulbari Siddiqui, Uday Narayan Chaudhary, Vrisin Patel, Shyam Rajak, Alok Mehta, and many senior leaders were present on the dharna with Jagdanand Singh.
