Patna: A shopkeeper tried to molest and rape an 8-year-old innocent who went to bring a b-skit in Bihar's capital Patna. At present, a case has been registered in this case, but the accused is absconding. In connection with the incident, it is being told that when the accused shopkeeper Kunal Kumar molested the girl and tried to rape her, the girl started screaming and crying.

During this, nearby people gathered to see the girl crying and then the parents were informed about the incident. Currently, on the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 354, 376 and 511 of the IPC and the POCSO Act and are investigating the case. However, the police has assured to arrest the accused soon.

Meanwhile, the victim's family has also accused the accused of threatening to withdraw the case and threatening the neighbour for giving testimony. Let me tell you that even a few days ago in Rajiv Nagar, Patna, due to the lapse of the parents, an acquaintance had committed the incident of raping the innocent daughter of the house. Pawar received this information when the innocent became ill and pregnant. Police is currently investigating the case after the complaint.
