Gaya: In view of the growing havoc of corona, Gaya municipal corporation has started the work of sanitizing the entire city with sodium hypochlorite chemical. As a campaign, every day, houses and streets in different areas are being sanitized. In the same episode, when municipal workers, mayor Birendra Paswan and deputy mayor Mohan Srivastava arrived to sanitize the new godown street in the district on Wednesday, locals showered flowers and welcomed them.

At the same time, praising the work they are doing in difficult times, honored them. He said, "In this hour of trouble when people are crouching in the house, municipal workers themselves are taking to the streets to sanitize the mohallas. This work is commendable". On Wednesday, the houses of several mohallas including the new godown, Bageshwari, Bairagi in the district have been sanitized. Meanwhile, people showered flowers on the personnel.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Mayor Mohan Srivastava said that leaders and public representatives come to these streets at the time of elections, never again. But the Gaya Municipal Corporation is taking to the streets in times of disaster and doing the work of sanitization. Locals said that if they are still left out of corona, the credit goes to these municipal purple Corona Warriors, who take care of cleanliness. Therefore, it is necessary to encourage them.
