Patna: The Shivhar district police of Bihar has arrested the culprits who sought money from Dr. Sudhir Kumar, who was posted at PHC, and opened fire on him with arms. Three pistols, two magazines, and several bullets were recovered from the possession of the arrested criminal. Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar informed that the SIT was set up under the leadership of SDPO Rakesh Kumar after the FIR was lodged regarding the incident, which had earlier threatened to kill the doctor for not giving money.
The SIT conducted raids at several places in Shivhar, Sitamarhi and Motihari districts to investigate the case and arrest the culprits involved in the incident and identified all the miscreants who played the role of shooter and liner in the incident. Talking about the arrest of the culprits, he said, based on the information received, other culprits, including Guddu Singh alias Saran Kumar Singh, have been arrested.
They have been identified and raids have been carried out on possible hideouts of the culprits involved in the said incident and arms, cartridges were recovered. Vikas Patel Ward No.4 Nagar Panchayat Shivhar, who supported them, has also been detained.
