Bihar police treasured during corona crisis, crores recovered in fines

Patna: Cases of coronavirus continue to rise in Bihar. The Nitish Kumar government has issued a guideline to control the virus. Those who do not follow them are facing the strictness of the Bihar police. In the same vein, police have registered 105 cases at various police stations in Bihar from 1st April to 30th April. 70 people have also been arrested.

During this period, 1 lakh 48 thousand 34 vehicles have been seized and 3 crores 89 lakh 72 thousand 792 rupees have been recovered as fine. The Bihar police action did not stop there. Police have taken action against 1 lakh 14 thousand 192 people who did not wear masks. 1 lakh 75 thousand 650 rupees as fine from such people.  ADG police headquarters Jitendra Kumar said the operation will continue.

ADG further said that economic and other activities will be taken against the person found violating the Covid-19 Protocol. In Bihar, the state government has imposed an evening curfew in view of the rising prices of the corona. Shops have also been allowed to open by 6 pm. With this, the number of people attending weddings and funerals has been restricted.
