Patna: Police resorted to lathi-charge and drove away using water cannons on protesters who were protesting against the disturbances in the Daroga Restoration Exam near Science College in Patna, Bihar's capital. All these protesters were protesting on Tuesday after being accused of leaking the Bihar Police exam paper and demanding a CBI inquiry into the case. According to the information received, the candidates demonstrated fiercely at Kargil Chowk. During this period, the movement of vehicles was also banned. The police reached the spot tried to convince the candidates, but they did not agree. After which the police have started lathi-charge.

The police also used the water cannon to control the students. During this period, there was an atmosphere of chaos in Kargil Chowk and its surroundings. During the examination, there was a lot of uproar among the candidates about the alleged leak of the question paper. Some students left the exam in between.
