Patna: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar issued a directive to the higher police officers regarding the strict observance of the liquor ban law in Bihar. After CM Nitish's promise, today all the policemen of the state have sworn not to drink alcohol once again. The order was passed by Bihar Police Headquarters to take an oath to the Police Department.

The DGP wrote a letter to the SP, Rail SP of all districts about this. After the police headquarters order, all police personnel from the police station to the police headquarters have sworn not to drink liquor and not to indulge in the liquor business. The letter written by the DGP in the police department, in that letter, it was mentioned that on December 9, CM Nitish had a meeting regarding alcohol prohibition. In this meeting, CM Nitish gave instructions in this regard.

After this, on 21 December today, policemen from all over Bihar have sworn in their office at 11 o'clock not to drink alcohol and not to indulge in the liquor business. In the light of this order issued by the Police Department, even before this, many times the police personnel of Bihar have sworn not to drink alcohol. Even after this, there is no effect on the policemen of Bihar. Many complaints of police drinking liquor, involvement in business are received daily.
