Patna: The corona virus menace in Bihar is on the rise but in the meantime the opposition is constantly targeting the government over the arrangements. At the same time, he targeted the RJD and said, "The hospital building that is visible today and has electricity. Because once the lantern used to burn, doctors and nurses are visible today. Before 2005, there was no distribution of medicines in hospitals. There was no system at all. Today, more than 250 medicines are given free of cost in Government hospitals. Earlier, cotton and needle did not reach the patients in the capital's largest hospital and today expensive medicines are being given at PMCH".
At the same time, he said, "The NDA which has worked in the last 15 years is showing results today. Within the last one and a half years, 13,000 nurses have been appointed. Four thousand doctors have been appointed in just one year. In the last three and a half years, 8,000 doctors have been appointed in different ways in the state. Referring to the same villages, the Health Minister said, "Earlier, what we used to call a block hospital, today there is a 30-bed hospital. Treatment is also being done and medicines are also being available. Earlier, the villagers used to go to a ruined building for treatment and today they are going to the modern building and getting treatment".
