Miscreants looted lakhs of rupees from grocery trader's employee

Patna: In Bihar, robbery, dacoity and murder have started intensifying again. The miscreants are on the flight after committing the crime in broad daylight. The latest case is that of Munger. Gopal Sah, son of Grocery businessman Laxmi Sah from Maksaspur in the city, was robbed of Rs 49 lakh by miscreants. At 5.00 pm on Monday, unidentified criminals riding bikes looted Rs 49 lakh from the businessman's employee with a weapon. The miscreants have committed the crime to prevent chase and create fear in the vicinity.

The robbers also opened fire while fleeing with the same money. Police are trying to reach out to the culprits with the help of CCTV cameras. On the other hand, traders are refusing to comment on the matter. Saurabh and Dharmendra Kumar, two employees of Gopal Sah, the city's largest grocery trader, were on their way to deposit money from Makaspur to the main branch SBI Bank on different bikes. Along with his employee, the businessmen were also following the bike with their daughter. The two employees were carrying money in a bag in the front car.

It was then that two criminals riding bikes coming from behind collided with the employee's car near Masjid Ahmadiyya in Shadipur Fish Adhat in the Kotwali police station area. The biker snatched the bag full of money by showing the pistol. On seeing the employee snatching the money, businessman Gopal Sah ran after the criminals and started shouting, at which the criminals opened two rounds to create panic and fled with the bag.
