Patna: Recently BAO has lodged a complaint against vendor Shiv Pujan Singh at Imadpur police station in Bihar on the order of DAO in connection with the allegation of black marketing of fertilizers by creating artificial urea crisis. DAO has also cancelled the vendor's licence with immediate effect. It may be mentioned that black marketing of fertilizer was reported from M/s Shiva Enterprises shop at Sahiyara in Tarari block.

The DAO also issued an order to conduct an inquiry and immediately a few moments later the inquiry started. According to reports, the investigation found the case to be correct. Where it has been found that urea was not being given to the farmers by the said vendor during the day and the shop was locked throughout the day. Its black marketing was being promoted in the nights. The agriculture coordinator and farmer advisor had found the allegation correct in the investigation. The farmers had accused the seller of selling urea worth Rs.266 per bag for Rs.350 by the seller.

The farmers had lodged a complaint in this regard. Earlier, last Friday also, a complaint was lodged against three fertilizer vendors of Tarari block and the licence of the three vendors was cancelled.
