Patna: Tejashwi Yadav has once again targeted CM Nitish Kumar after he met the media at the state office for the first time since his marriage. This time Tejashwi Yadav said, "Nitish Kumar is demanding special statehood for Bihar. They are demanding special statehood from the Government at the Centre which belongs to the NDA, and Nitish Kumar's party is involved in that NDA. He further said, "The NDA government is in power both in Bihar and at the Centre. Out of 40 MPs from Bihar, 39 are from NDA. In spite of that, Bihar is not developing. Nor is Bihar getting special statehood.''
He further said, "There is no denying that Bihar is lagging behind on every scale of development. But this is the situation then. When 39 out of 40 MPs from Bihar belong to NDA. You say that there is a double engine government. But what is the matter is that even though there are 39 MPs, no development work is being done in Bihar. At the time of RJD, there were 22 MPs and railway factories, roads and many other development works were carried out.''
He further said, "There is no industry in the state. The law and order system is deteriorating day by day. Corruption is at its peak. It opens up a poll of all claims of the ruling party in the state. This Government has completely failed to set up liquor ban, employment, education industry. Graduation is to be done in 3 years but a child asked the chief minister if it has been 6 years. If it still didn't happen, it was thrown out.''
During this, he also tried to surround CM Nitish on the caste census. He said, 'CM Nitish Kumar had talked about convening an all-party meeting in two to four days, but no information has come yet. Caste census is in the interest of the country and the state so what are you waiting for. Conducted meetings of all parties. When it has been passed by the Legislative Assembly, the Legislative Council and sent to the Centre. But why are you not taking it forward till now? Because Nitish Kumar is under pressure from BJP. Regarding the Chief Minister's visit, Tejashwi said that he is going on a social reform journey. The Chief Minister should live among the people. But he is surrounded by officials.
