Gopalganj: Unscrupulous criminals shot CSP operator and looted Rs 3 lakh in Bihar's Gopalganj district. At the same time, the villagers caught a criminal who had come for robbery and beat him fiercely. The name of the victim CSP Director is Ravi Sharma. He is a resident of Babu Vishunpur village in Yadopur. According to the victim Ravi Sharma, he was withdrawing Rs 3 lakh from Bank of Baroda from Gopalganj and taking money to CSP in Masanthana village of Yadopur. Then two criminals riding motorcycle chased him and shot him.

He succumbed to his bullet and fell. After which the criminals escaped by snatching his bags full of money. The villagers caught a criminal while absconding. From which one lakh 90 thousand rupees were also recovered. After catching him, the villagers beat him fiercely. Due to which he was seriously injured. Both the injured have been admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment. The name of the arrested criminal is being told as Rupam Kumar.

DIG Vijay Kumar Verma has said that Ravi Sharma from Bank of Baroda was going to CSP after taking out 03 lakh rupees. Then the criminal shot them and snatched money from them.
