As per the reports, Kirti Bharti is the new topper of Bihar board intermediate (Class 12) arts examination as she secured 408 out of 500 in the examination.

'After the results was declared, i was appeared in the re-test on June 3, that was held for more than one and a half hour. I had answered every question correctly leaving one or two', said Kirti.

The police arrested Ruby Rai who secured 444 out of 500 marks in the Class 12 exam with arts stream, for interrogation on Saturday from BSEB office after a non-bailable warrant was issued against her and the other three toppers.

When the examiners asked her to write an essay on Poet Tulsidas in a re-test on Saturday, according to officials, topper Ruby Rai wrote 'Tulsidas ji, pranam' and among all the questions, she just gave useless answers for every question asked to her, proving that she is not the worth topper.

V R College Director and Principal Bachcha Rai was arrested early this month and was lodged in Beur jail in Patna.

Also, in connection with the scam, Former board Chairman Lalkeshwar Prasad and his wife, former Janata Dal-United (JD-U) MLA Usha Sinha were also arrested.
