Patna: There is silence in the market after the brutally murder Kedarnath Sah, a pot merchant of Kursakanta Bazaar in Araria district, Bihar. SDPO KD Singh, who arrived in Kursakanta to investigate the murder, has inspected the site. He has been informed of the incident by the deceased's son Kundan Sah.
The deceased's son has told the SDPO that his father was walking outside the house after having dinner. Meanwhile, when Kundan came out of the house after hearing the noise, he saw that Sunil Sah was attacking his father with a knife. As the crowd gathered, the accused fled from there. In mourning, Kursakanta market remained closed for a few hours on Saturday. The SDPO said that the culprit will be arrested soon. The process of filing the report is in progress.
He said that the family of the deceased would be given a compensation of one lakh rupees immediately. The local police have recovered the knives, slippers and glasses used in the murder from the vacant ground a little away from the spot. The police recovered the glasses of the accused from the spot on Friday night itself. Thanedar Bhanu Pratap Singh said that the bloodstain of the deceased has been sent from the scene to the forensic examination. This heartbreaking event has stirred the entire region.
