5 armed miscreants enter HDFC bank in Hajipur, flee after robbing Rs 1.19 crore

Patna: Rs 1.19 crore was looted from the branch of HDFC Bank at Hajipur in Vaishali district of Bihar. The incident was reportedly carried out by five miscreants riding bikes. On the other hand, the accused fled waving their arms after committing the crime. The entire city was under shock after receiving information about the matter. Police have cordoned off the area and launched a search for the accused.

According to reports, the miscreants entered the branch shortly after the bank opened. They took all the employees hostage with weapons and carried out the crime. Investigations have revealed that a total of five miscreants carried out the crime. The matter was reported to the police when the accused escaped. The main gate of the branch of HDFC Bank has reportedly been closed following the shocking incident. Also, entry of media has been banned. Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar confirmed the incident. He said a blockade was imposed in the city since the incident was reported and the accused are being searched.

According to police, the footage CCTV has revealed the whereabouts of the accused. Based on that, an inquiry has also been initiated. Police claim that there may be success in reaching out to the accused soon. Let us tell you that there is panic in the area after the incident.
