Patna: Today is the second phase of voting for Bihar assembly elections 2020. Yes, voting for the second phase has started today. In such a situation, you would be aware that under the second phase, the people of Bihar are choosing their representatives on 94 seats today. In the second phase of voting, the two Chief Ministerial contenders, RJD leader and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav and Purals President Pushpam Priya Chaudhary, including Tej Pratap Yadav, the fate of many veterans will be sealed in the EVM.

With today's voting, the fate of the delegates contesting 165 seats for the 243-member Bihar assembly is also going to be closed in EVMs. Let us also tell you that 2,86,11,164 voters will cast their vote in the second phase. In fact, EVMs have been reported to be not working properly in Begusarai, Samastipur, Motihari, Danapur, Nalanda and Chhapra during polling in 94 constituencies under the second phase of Bihar Legislative Assembly. With this, voting started at 15 minutes late due to disturbances in the EVM at booth number 266 of Jasuli Panchayat of Siwan.

Apart from this, voting has not started at one and two booths respectively due to malfunction of EVMs in Darbhanga and Gopalganj. In this phase, 1463 candidates, including Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, four ministers of the government, Shravan Kumar, Ramsevak Singh, Nandkishore Yadav and Rana Randhir have been in the fray. The third and final phase of Bihar assembly elections is yet to come and after that its result is going to come on 10 November.
