Kolkata : A woman from Bihar was allegedly gangaraped by her husband and two of his associates in Kolkata's Cossipore neighbourhood on Saturday, police said.
According to a senior officer, the trio was arrested after the woman filed a report. He stated the woman, in her early thirties, had travelled to the city for medical treatment.
As per the woman's complaint, the incident occurred on Thursday night at her aunt's house while her husband and two friends were drinking liquor. "Inebriated, her husband's two friends pushed themselves on her in front of her spouse, who then raped her," said the police officer.
He stated she had a medical examination and that the results are pending, and that more inquiry is underway.
