Amritsar: Candidates of all political parties have started filing nominations for the Punjab Assembly elections. In the same vein, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Bikram Singh Majithia has filed his nomination papers from Amritsar East today. Let us know that congress has fielded Punjab chief Navjot Singh Sidhu from Amritsar East. After filing his nomination from Amritsar East, Majithia took a dig at Navjot Singh Sidhu. He has said that who is not of his mother, will he be of the people.

Hitting out at Punjab Congress unit president Navjot Singh Sidhu, Bikram Singh Majithia said, there has been no development of Amritsar East so far. If CM Channi will not make Sidhu the CM of Punjab, he can also go to Pakistan to become the president of the Pakistan Muslim League. People are exposing their models. Majithia said that who (Sidhu) could not be of his mother, how will he be of the people.

Sidhu's elder sister Suman Toor, who lives in the US, has made a big claim today. Suman is currently in Chandigarh, where she alleged during a press conference on Friday that Navjot Sidhu had thrown her and her mother out of the house after her father's death in 1986. Toor claimed that her mother had died at a railway station in 1989. She added: "We've seen a very difficult time. My mother had been in the hospital for four months. I have documentary proof of what I am claiming.''
