Kolkata: Eight people were burnt alive in an arson following the killing of Trinamool Congress leader Bhadu Sheikh in West Bengal's Birbhum district. On the other hand, 23 people have been arrested in this case so far. After the whole incident came to light, there is an atmosphere of panic in Baguti village and now the victims' families here are leaving their homes. This situation looks like some Kashmiri Pandits, though the only difference is that they were driven out of their homes years ago and panic is being spread here so that people themselves run away.

On the other hand, according to media reports, the families of the victims say, "We can't live here in fear. We have lost our family members. We're going out with our family now.'' On the other hand, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has sought an action taken report from the West Bengal Police within three days. On the other hand, there has been a stir in politics and after this incident, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, demanding an inquiry by the central agencies.

What is the whole matter- In fact, the local leader of the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) in the Birbhum district of West Bengal was murdered. Shortly after the murder, dozens of huts were set on fire in Baguti village near Rampurhat. Eight people, including two children and three women, were charred to death in the fire. After the entire incident, the BJP has demanded CM Mamata to resign and impose President's rule. On the other hand, DGP Manoj Malaviya says that a total of 11 people have been arrested so far. One of the survivors of the incident said that we were sleeping and suddenly heard the sound of explosions. Our houses were then set on fire.

Comparison with Kashmir Files- On social media, this incident is being linked to Kashmir files and the anger among the people about this incident is clearly visible. People are comparing victims to Kashmiri Pandits. State Congress chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury claimed that the situation in West Bengal is deteriorating and Article 355 of the Constitution should be implemented here.
