Patna: In the midst of Corona's war, people are in awe of the bird flu knock in Bihar. Meanwhile, after confirming the bird flu in a sample of dead chickens sent by the Animal Health and Production Institute of the Animal Husbandry Directorate, the work of killing chickens has started in a radius of one kilometer of the area concerned. Instructions have been given to sanitize chickens and poultry farms within a radius of ten km.

State CM Nitish Kumar has directed the officials of Animal and Fisheries Resources Department to keep an eye on the unusual death of birds and take necessary steps to prevent the effects of the flu. An official of the department said on Saturday that after receiving the notification and order of the central government, the team of animal husbandry department has started the process of killing and burying the chickens in collaboration with the district administration.

"Do not let any migrant and workers go empty stomach", instructs Union Minister Nitin Gadkari

The official said, "The chickens are being killed at the poultry farm in Ashoknagar in Kankarbagh and Kattrisarai area of Nalanda district in Patna. Apart from killing and burying the chickens, their infected grain water is also being destroyed". CM Nitish held a high-level meeting with the Department of Animal and Fishery Resources on bird flu and swine flu on Friday and gave many instructions.
