Vicky Kaushal is going to bring in his 31st birthday in a special way on May 16. Uri: The Surgical Strike star has flown to New York and will be joined by his college friends there. The actor has rented a villa in the countryside of the city.

He is an Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer and graduated in the year 2009 from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Mumbai. He attended acting workshops under Kishore Namit Kapoor and did a lot of theatres and appeared in Luv Shuv Te Chicken Khurana in 2012.

He also assisted Anurag Kashyap during the making of Gangs of Wasseypur. He has immense love for food and relishes Punjabi delicacies Pani-Puri, Jalebi Rabri, Aaloo Paran, ha and Chinese dishes and can eat to the core.

He is immensely inspired by the acting skills of Hrithik Roshan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Game of Thrones and Prison Break are his favourite TV shows.

As per reports, “Vicky has taken a two-week break from his tight schedule. He was supposed to take this break last month but because of his work commitments, he couldn’t. He has booked a villa in the countryside of the city where he plans to relax and catch up with college friends who will arrive from Boston and New Jersey. It will be a birthday reunion of sorts.”
