Actress Shubhangi Atre, who turned a year older on Thursday, chose to celebrate her birthday in special ways. On the work front, she is playing Angoori in the comedy TV series Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain. Shubhangi had replaced Shilpa Shinde in April 2016. She was earlier seen on shows like Chidiya ghar, Adhoori Kahaani Hamari and many more. Fans had a lot of expectation from her when she came on board for the hit comedy show. She has now become a popular face and people know her by her on screen name. Before coming to the TV industry, Atre shot for a shampoo brand (regional product). It was an ad for print.After marriage, she started her acting career in 2006, when producer Ekta Kapoor gave her role in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She then seen in Kasturi as lead role.After that, she played a negative character in Havan.

On April 2016, Atre replaced Shilpa Shinde as Angoori Bhabhi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! on &TV and also portrayed the role of Devsena in Adhuri Kahaani Hamari on &TV. She gained the popularity from her sitcom Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai!. Shilpa Shinde who was playing the Angoori Bhabi character, made an allegation that Atre is copying her. To clarify the allegation of Shinde, Atre said that she was copying Angoori's character not Shinde's character.
