Vineeth is an Indian professional football player who is known for his work as a midfielder and winger for the Chennaiyin club on loan from the Kerala Blasters. He is also known for his work with the India national team as well.

He started his youth career playing in the Chennai Customs Academy. He then played for the Kerala State Electricity Board while studying in SN College in Kannur, before starting his senior career in 2011 with the Chirag United club that played in the I-league.

Vineeth’s career shot upwards when he signed with United FC for the 2012-2013 seasons.

He has earned several honours for scoring 4 goals for his team with the Bengaluru FC including winning the Federation Cup in 2014 and in 2016.

He was born and raised in Kunnur, Kerala, India and has two children he often shares pictures with through his Instagram. Jayesh Rane is a fellow Indian professional football player also known for his work as a winger on the India national team.

He has played 7 matches since his debut in 2013 without scoring a goal. He made his debut for the team against Air India, where he played 82 minutes in the match and even scored a goal. He ended up being the top scorer among Indians that season with a tally of 7 goals, thus announcing his arrival in the footballing world.

Vineeth was back in 2016, where he became the top Indian scorer after netting 5 goals in 9 matches. Kerala reached the finals that season but couldn’t win the cup. At 31 years of age, he still has a lot to offer and it will be interesting to see how Kerala’s football sensation fares in the coming years.
