Samir Kochhar was born on 23rd May 1980, in New Delhi, India. He is an Indian Film Actor & Television Presenter who known for his role in Hindi and Telugu films.

Samir started his acting career with Sameer Sabharwal’s Hindi film titled Valentine Days in the year 2003. He was then seen in Emraan Hashmi’s starrer film Zeher in 2005 and then did some B-grade films such as Bold and Ek Se Mera Kya Hoga. His significant role came in the much-hyped film titled Jannat in 2008 in which he portrayed the role of an honest cop.

 Since then, he has played minor or supporting roles in various films. In 2015, he acted in Ruchika Oberoi’s film called Island City. The film was premiered at various international film festivals and received positive reviews. He gained much fame through commercial hit film Housefull 3 in 2016. He was last seen in blockbuster movies such as Tiger Zinda Hai and Munna Michael.

 Besides the silver screen, this tall dark and handsome man has graced the small screen with the talk show called Dangerous. He has performed in a much-acclaimed television show called ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’.

 His real recognition though came after he started hosting the pre-match show of the IPL. He has been with the show since its inception in 2008 and was with them in the recently concluded The 10th season of the league. He has become a household name after hosting the show. This show has brought him the widest of recognition.

Samir is married to Radhika since 2010 and together with the couple is blessed with a son named Kabir.
