Ravneet Singh Bittu, Congress MP from Ludhiana, Punjab and grandson of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh, has done something recently that he has come in the discussions. Through his social media, he has warned Diljit Dosanjh and Jazzy B. Ravneet Singh Bittu alleges that these two are trying to promote Khalistani agenda through their songs, which will not be tolerated.

Bittu has raised objections to Diljit Dosanjh's song 'Rangroot' and Jassi B's 'Put Jatta Daan'. He wrote "If the people of Punjab can take you to the highs, then they can also send you to jail. You are now betraying the country and Punjab. Why did you become thirsty for the blood of the youth of Punjab? Telling our children to take up arms? Your mistakes will not be tolerated." Not only this, but he also appealed to the Congress workers to complain of treason against these two. In response, Diljit Dosanjh released the video and said- 'The song which is being objected is from the 2014 film Punjab 1984. This film and its songs were approved by the censor board.

Diljit did not stop at this and he further said, "If there was an objectionable thing in it, then why would the censor board pass it? And why was this film selected for the National Award? MP Ravneet Singh Bittu should once again look at the film and the song and understand it properly that I have not done anything against the country. I pay tax in India and always stand with India". No statement of Jassi B has been revealed in this case so far. Both are well-known singers in the industry.
